Required reading before you trade with money you can't afford to lose. Trading is risky. Past results don't predict future results. TradeCamp teaches; it does not advise. The longer version is below.
01.Risk disclosure
Trading any financial instrument — stocks, options, futures, forex, cryptocurrency — involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. The valuation of any instrument may fluctuate, and as a result, you may lose more than your original investment.
Past performance is not indicative of future results. The performance of any trading system, strategy, methodology, or technique discussed on this site is not necessarily indicative of future results. Most retail traders lose money.
Before trading any instrument, carefully consider your financial condition, investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. You should not engage in trading unless you fully understand the nature of the transactions you are entering into and the extent of your exposure to loss.
02.Not investment advice
Nothing published on TradeCamp — courses, articles, community posts, journal templates, AI chat responses, the Summit Score, or any other content or feature — constitutes investment advice, personalized recommendation, or solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument.
TradeCamp is not a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), broker-dealer, financial planner, or licensed professional. We are educational publishers.
If you need personalized advice, consult a licensed financial advisor in your jurisdiction.
03.Hypothetical performance
Examples shown in courses, marketing materials, or community posts may include hypothetical or backtested performance. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations:
- They are designed with the benefit of hindsight.
- They do not represent actual trading and have not been executed against live markets.
- They cannot account for slippage, commission, liquidity constraints, or the emotional discipline required to execute a strategy in real-time.
- No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or loss similar to those shown.
- There are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program.
04.Testimonials and case studies
Testimonials displayed on TradeCamp reflect the individual experience of the camper providing the testimonial. They are not typical results. There is no guarantee that you will achieve similar results. Many factors affect trading outcomes, including starting capital, time commitment, market conditions, and adherence to the system as taught.
Case studies and "camper wins" are illustrative of what students have done; they are not a forecast of what you will do. TradeCamp does not pay for testimonials.
05.Affiliate and partnership disclosures
TradeCamp does not currently participate in any affiliate referral programs for brokers, platforms, or other paid services. If this changes, we will disclose any compensated relationships clearly here and in the relevant lesson or article.
Books, tools, and services mentioned in lessons are mentioned for educational reasons, not because we are paid to mention them.
06.AI-generated content
Some features — the AI chatbot, search results, AI moderation, and machine-generated summaries — use large language models. These systems can produce plausible-sounding output that is factually incorrect or out of date. Treat AI output as a starting point, not authoritative guidance.
We disclose the use of AI in any feature where it materially affects the content you receive.
07.Forward-looking statements
Statements on TradeCamp about future market conditions, the performance of strategies, or the trajectory of any instrument are forward-looking statements. They are based on opinion, not fact, and are inherently uncertain. They should not be relied upon for any trading or investment decision.
08.Updates
These disclosures may be updated over time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email.
