FAQ
The honest answers.
What's the difference between Camper Pass and the courses?
The courses (over on /courses) are one-time purchases. Pay once, the video lessons are yours forever. Camper Pass is the annual membership that keeps the community + workshops + meetups going. You can buy a course without a Camper Pass, or join the community without buying a course — they're independent.
Can I cancel anytime?
Camper Pass is a 12-month membershipeither way. If you paid annually upfront, you keep access until your year ends — no refunds for the unused portion. If you're on the monthly plan, you're committing to 12 monthly payments (e.g. cancel in month 8, you still owe 4 more installments and keep access through month 12). After the first year, monthly campers can cancel anytime from /account/billing — access ends at the next billing date.
Why a 12-month commitment on monthly?
Camper Pass works because campers actually stick around long enough to build relationships, get reps in, and benefit from the workshops + meetups. A one-month-out flake doesn't help anyone — including the camper. Pricing the monthly plan as a 12-month commitment keeps the bar high enough that everyone in the room is serious. Annual is the same commitment, paid all at once and discounted accordingly.
Why is annual cheaper than monthly × 12?
Annual upfront saves Camp on payment processing fees plus the bookkeeping of monthly churn. We pass the savings back — a meaningful discount vs. month-to-month.
Do I lose anything if I let it lapse?
Your community access pauses but every personal artifact stays — your posts, your saved bookmarks, your trade-journal data, your purchased courses. Re-subscribe anytime and pick right back up.
