Terms of Service

Last updated · May 22, 2026

This is a draft for review. The version posted at launch will be the version reviewed and approved by counsel.

The plain-English version: TradeCamp teaches trading. We are not your financial adviser. You're responsible for your own money. Be kind to other campers. Refunds within 30 days, no questions asked. The detailed version is below.

01.Who we are

TradeCamp ("TradeCamp," "we," "us," or "our") is an educational platform that teaches trading and risk management through self-paced courses, written materials, and a private community for paying members. TradeCamp is operated by Sean Turner.

By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using any feature of the site at tradecamp.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

02.What we are not

TradeCamp is an educational publisher. We are NOT:

  • A Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) under any jurisdiction.
  • A broker-dealer, an introducing broker, or a financial planner.
  • A custodian of client funds. We will never hold, manage, or have signature authority over your money.
  • A signals service. We do not, and will not, tell you when to buy or sell any specific security.
  • A guarantor of profits. Trading involves substantial risk and most retail traders lose money.

03.Educational content, not personalized advice

Everything we publish — courses, articles, community posts, journal templates, the Summit Score, the trade journal, AI chat responses — is general educational content. It is not, and is not intended to be, personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or any kind of solicitation.

You are solely responsible for the decisions you make with your money. Consult a licensed financial professional before acting on anything you learn here.

04.Accounts and access

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harass other members, post unlawful content, attempt to scrape or resell our materials, or chronically charge back legitimate purchases.

05.Payments and refunds

Course purchases are one-time and processed through Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the charge displayed on the checkout page. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.

Refund policy: 30 days from purchase, no questions asked, for any reason. Email support@tradecamp.com (or open a ticket in your account) and we'll process the refund. Refunds after 30 days are at our discretion and typically reserved for documented hardship.

Subscriptions (if introduced) auto-renew at the cadence shown at checkout. You can cancel any time from your account billing page; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period.

06.Intellectual property

All course content — videos, written lessons, workbook PDFs, journal templates, the Summit Score methodology — is owned by TradeCamp and licensed to you for personal use only.

You may not redistribute, resell, share login credentials, post recordings to other platforms, train AI models on the content, or use any of the materials to operate a competing service. We pursue takedowns and damages aggressively.

You retain ownership of anything you write in your journal, community posts, or support tickets. By posting in the community, you grant TradeCamp a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, moderate, and quote your content within the platform.

07.Community rules

Be honest. Be kind. Be useful. Specific prohibitions:

  • No specific trade calls ("buy this now") to other members. Educational discussion of setups is fine.
  • No promotion of outside paid services, signals groups, or affiliate links.
  • No personal attacks, harassment, doxxing, or hate speech.
  • No financial misinformation. Disagreements about strategy are welcome; misrepresenting basic facts is not.
  • Posts go through AI moderation and may require human review before publishing. Repeat violations lead to mute, then ban.

08.Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Past performance shown in any example trade, backtest, or testimonial does not predict future results. Examples are illustrative and may have been selected for educational clarity rather than representativeness.

09.Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRADECAMP'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST OPPORTUNITY, EVEN IF WE'VE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

This section applies to the fullest extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — in which case our liability is limited to the smallest amount your jurisdiction allows.

10.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TradeCamp harmless from any third-party claim arising out of your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

11.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where TradeCamp is headquartered (without regard to conflicts of law).

Any dispute will be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, in English, in the state of TradeCamp's headquarters. You waive the right to participate in any class action. Either of us may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property.

12.Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of the page; we'll also email members about meaningful changes that affect their existing purchases or accounts. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
